Goutham Malempati, MD, MHA, CPE, FACHE, FAAFP, SFHM is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a passion for medical education and leadership. He received his medical degree from M.R. Medical College, India, and completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital, MVHS. He has been actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, serving as a faculty member in the Family Medicine Residency Program. He has served as Director of medical education for residents.
Currently, he holds a faculty position as Associate Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has also held various leadership roles, including serving as the Medical Director for the Hospitalist Program at MVHS from 2017 to 2022. His commitment to education and leadership is further demonstrated by his completion of a Master's in Healthcare Administration and his board certification in healthcare management.
His professional affiliations include being a Certified Physician Executive (CPE), Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), and Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine (SFHM).
